Robotics Technical Support Engineer

Robotic loading systems developed byDexterity Inc. in the United States, equipped with advanced AI, computervision, and control technologies, are gaining attention as next-generationsolutions that enable high-speed, collaborative, and complex operations farbeyond the capabilities of conventional robots. These systems are expected toautomate tasks that were previously possible only through manual labor.

As Japan’s logistics industry facesincreasing challenges, this AI-powered loading robot is drawing significantinterest as a solution to address labor shortages and operationalinefficiencies.
To deliver this groundbreaking technology to a wide range of customers inJapan, it is essential to provide tailored, Japan-specific services across allthree phases: deployment, operation, and support. At our company, we call thisinitiative the Dep-Ops (Deployment and Operations) Team. We are committed tobuilding and launching services for the Japanese market from the ground up, andwe will do our best to gain the trust of our customers and partner companies.
We are looking for members with knowledge, experience, and the ability to takeinitiative in engineering and customer support.

Responsibilities (including but not limited to)

・Troubleshoot issues with robots in operation and perform on-site support, including repairs, inspections, teaching, modifications, and specification changes
・Provide technical support, maintenance, and training to customers and partner companies
・Prepare documentation related to technical procedures, workflows, and safety management required for field operations
・Dispatch field engineers and partner technicians
・Select and arrange shipment of spare parts required for on-site support
・Report incidents related to robots in operation
・Propose improvements to robot performance, product quality, and service operations

Desired Skills

・Experience in engineering or field service for robots, material handling equipment, or electrical products
・Basic technical understanding of robotics, computing, mechanical, and electricity
・7+ years of experience in technical roles
・Ordinary Driver's License

Preferred Skills and Experience

・Experience in providing remote technical support to customers
・Experience in robotics engineering or technical services
・Experience with electrical, network, and facility construction for robot and material handling system implementation.
・Completion of certified training for industrial robot teaching and inspection
・Electrical certification (e.g., Certified Electrician or First-Class Electrician)
・Knowledge of risk assessment and safety management
