Lead Robotics Deployment and Operations Engineer

The truck-loading robot developed by Dexterity Inc. in the U.S. is powered by advanced AI, computer vision, and control technologies.
Compared to conventional robotic systems, it enables high-speed movement, coordinated actions, and complex operations—automating tasks that were previously only possible through manual labor.
As such, this AI-powered robot is gaining attention as a promising solution to critical challenges facing Japan’s logistics industry.
To successfully deploy this innovative technology across a broad customer base in Japan, it is essential to provide localized services tailored to each customer at all three stages: deployment, operation, and support.
At our company, we have established a dedicated team called “Dep-Ops” (Deployment and Operations), which is working from the ground up to build service models specifically for the Japanese market.
We are seeking motivated professionals with expertise in engineering and project management who are eager to help us build and deliver this next-generation logistics solution. Join us in shaping the future of logistics in Japan.

Responsibilities (including but not limited to)

・Lead a team of Robotics Deployment and Operations Engineer, and provide hands-on technical support for deployment, operations, and support of robots
・Localize manuals and training materials into Japanese and provide hands-on training (including native-level review of Japanese documentation)
・Establishing safe and efficient operations tailored to the customer environment.
・Conduct validation and software testing in the company lab (including lab setup and operation)

※Note: This is a deployment-focusedengineering role, not a development position. A transition to a developmentrole is not currently planned

Desired Skills

・Field experience as a deployment engineer for robots and material handling equipment.
・Technical understanding of ：Machinery (robots/conveyors), computing, networking, electrical systems, and facilities and infrastructure.
・10+ years of work experience in technical roles, including at least 3 years woirking within robotics or material handling companies in Japan.

Preferred Skills and Experience

・Experience managing deployment projects
・Experience in robotics development
・Experience related to installation work(electrical, network, facility construction) for robotics and material handling
・Broad knowledge of computing such as AI and digital twins
・Knowledge of Risk Assessment and Safety Management
